FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question: I have a Giant Breed Dog.  Do you make collars that large?
Answer:  Yes.  I can make collars for any size dog.

Question: Are the collars adjustable?
Answer: The snap collars are a fixed size, custom made to fit YOUR dog.  However, I also make Adjustable Collars as well as Martingale Collars with either a 2 inch opening or a 4 inch opening.  The Martingale Collar tightens when the dog pulls on the leash.

Question:  What if the collar does not fit?
Answer: The collar is made based off of your measurements, however, if it doesn't fit, you can mail it back and I will make you a new one.  Please be sure to measure directly on your pet's neck with no slack.  I will add slack when making the collar.

Question: Is the collar washable?
Answer:  Yes.  The paracord is made of nylon and will not shrink or will the colors run.  Wash it in your washing machine, or hand wash it, with cold water, and lay out to dry.  Do not use hot water or the dryer, as that will stiffen up the paracord.

Question: Is there a guarantee?
Answer:   Yes.  If the product unravels, breaks, or fails in any way within the first year, you can mail it back and I will make you a new one.  The product is not guaranteed against your dog (or another dog) from chewing it up.

Question: How long does it take for my order to be prepared and mailed out?
Answer: Depending on the size of the order, it typically takes 3 to 5 days to prepare your order and mail out the next day.  I use the US Postal Service for mail service.  Mailing time could take from 2 to 5 days depending on your location.

Note:  I only ship within the US.

Question:  Can I see the item I ordered before it is mailed out?
Answer: Yes.  I will take a picture of the completed item and email it to you before shipping.

Question:  How can I get a picture of my pet wearing his/her new collar placed in your Photo Gallery?
Answer:  Email a picture to me.  My email address is barbara@paracordpetcollars.com

Question:  Can you add extra hardware to a leash?
Answer:  Yes, depending on what it is.

Question:  Can you add an ID plate to the collar?
Answer:  Yes.  You just have it mailed to me and I can stitch it on during the development of the collar.

Question:  Where is the products made?
Answer:  All items are made in the USA (Mesa, AZ) with components purchased in the USA!

Question:  Can you make custom items that are not currently shown on your website?
Answer:  Possibly.... it depends on what it is.  Please feel free to reach out to me with pictures.
