What is BioThane®?
BioThane® is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It’s basically a
polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean and weldable.
Beta 520 Standard BioThane®
Beta is a soft coating that has the look and feel of leather. It has a low gloss or dull appearance. It is soft and very flexible.
The leather embossing gives it the leather look. It will hold its flexibility in very cold weather.
What is a BioThane® Adapter?
A BioThane Adapter is a combination of BioThane and Hardware in order to make an Adjustable Paracord Dog Collar.
We sell these adapters as a Full Version, which includes BioThane on both halves of the adapter, allowing for any type of weave
to be implemented.
We also sell the adapters as a Partial Version. The partial version includes the adjustable strap portion, the buckle and a D-Ring. This will save you a little bit of money and is suitable for collar weaves that can incorporate the D-Ring directly in the weave. The Sanctified Weave and similar weave structures would be an example of what type of weave to use for a Partial BioThane Adapter. This keeps the adjustable BioThane portion of the collar much shorter, providing a longer Paracord portion of the collar.
Available Colors and Sizes:
Our BioThane Adapters are available in 1 inch and 3/4 inch wide.
Available Colors are: Black, Midnight Blue, Electric Blue, Light Blue, Purple, Red, Bright Pink, Orange, Hunter Green, and Grey.
Adjustability:
Our adapters have 6 holes spread 3/4" apart, allowing for up to 3.5" of adjustability.
Shipping Charge is $5.00 for the first adapter and $1.00 for each additional, with a maximum charge of $12.00 for larger orders.

My BioThane Adapters have just received a "Make-Over".
They are now being made with grommets in the eye holes and strap keeper (to keep the adjustable strap held down)
